Safilo Group held a North American sales conference on Thursday, October 13 th – Saturday, October 15 th which brought together sales representatives from across the U.S. and Canada to be inspired, energized and informed over the two-and- a-half- day meeting which took place at the Meadowlands Hilton in East Rutherford, NJ. The conference was aimed at all sales distribution channels: 3 O, corporate chains and department/specialty stores, and was hyper-focused on Safilo’s right to win in 2017 and beyond, based on its 2020 transformation plan for the company’s long term growth and sustainability. Henri Blomqvist, a member of the Safilo Group’s executive committee who took on the newly created role of CEO of Safilo North America on August 1 st and is also responsible for Safilo’s global sports channel, kicked off the convention for which the theme was aptly named “2020 Transformation for Sustainable Growth.” His presentation focused on the vision and strategy for North America which is based on the company’s 2020 strategic plan, first announced in March of 2015. Padua, August 4, 2015 – The Board of Directors of Safilo Group S.p.A. – the fully integrated Italian eyewear creator, listed on the Milan Stock Exchange – has today reviewed and approved the results of the second quarter and first half of 2015. Net sales for the first six months of 2015 grew by 11.3% on a reported basis and by 1.0% at constant currencies, with the business recording an improvement in the second quarter, up 12.0% (+1.2% at constant currencies). The main growth contributors were key Western European countries, North America, MEA and Latin America. In the first half of 2015, gross profit grew by 6.9%, having increased by 7% in the second quarter. Gross margin equalled 60.7% of sales in the first six months and 60.9% in the second quarter. The contraction compared to the comparable periods last year (63.3% and 63.7% respectively in H1 and Q2 2014), continued to be mainly driven by cost inflation increases not yet recovered through industrial efficiencies, as the Group continues to ramp up its cost savings initiatives. SAFILO Group Announces The Relocation Of Its North American Headquarters In Parsippany, NJ

Parsippany – Padua, June 19th 2015. Safilo Group – the fully integrated Italian eyewear creator and worldwide distributor of quality and trust – has announced today the intent to relocate its North American headquarters which is currently co-located with a Distribution Center in Parsippany, NJ. This follows the decision to simplify and streamline operationally its US Logistics and Distribution network, which will be run entirely out of its existing Distribution Center in Denver (Colorado). Following a carefully planned operational transition, the Parsippany Distribution Center will close by mid next year. A relocation study for the Group’s future North America headquarters has been launched involving an employee taskforce to identify the most attractive HQ location closer to New York City and better connect with Safilo’s Fifth Avenue showroom.
