Marcolin Negotiates Eyewear Agreement for Diesel

LONGARONE, Italy—Marcolin Group (MCL-IT) and Diesel Group have announced they have reached a preliminary agreement for a future five-year licensing contract for the production and worldwide distribution of Diesel sunglasses and ophthalmic frames.

Marcolin and Diesel Group said they will continue contract negotiations and the agreement is expected to be finalized by Oct. 31, 2010.

“We are excited to have the opportunity to grab new challenges and have the chance to make use of our design’s expertise with Diesel, a brand leader in a segment where dynamism, innovation and continuity are key successful elements,” said Maurizio Marcolin, style and licensing officer for Marcolin Group.
