Polaroid, the leading polarized lenses brand in the mass-cool sunglass segment, is proud to present, for its spring summer 2017 collection, the largest Instagram campaign ever seen in the industry.

The campaign will be carried out simultaneously in seven countries – Brazil, UK, Norway, Germany, United States, France and Italy – reaching more than 15 million users at the same time, and is just one of the activities taking place to celebrate the 80-year history of the Polaroid brand (1937-2017), leader in the technology of polarized lenses.

More than 250 highly influential Instagram ambassadors in the fashion and lifestyle segment, will be the protagonists of this global campaign which, for the first time, will see an eyewear brand behind a global project with a worldwide resonance.

The high-quality visual narrative created on the ambassadors’ profiles will increase the brand’s awareness, thanks to the initial posting of the images by the ambassadors and their successive trend-setting comments and support of the brand for all their followers to see. In fact, the ambassadors involved have been selected for their affinity for the brand – for its pop spirit and the cool design of its polarized lenses, as well as for the strong influence they have on their friends, fans and follower communities.

The project will be launched in the seven countries listed above on May 24, when all ambassadors will post on their Instagram account the creative contribution they have made, sharing it with their communities.
