Tura Inc: Ted Baker – Finely Framed

The Ted Baker collection is historically classic in regards to shape and fit, but we’re here to remind you that Ted Baker never stops innovating in their design. Using innovative materials and applying modern updates to retro frames is a design theme at the crux of the brand. This time, innovation spurs from the use of a material that is 30% lighter than standard acetate, known as HDCA. HDCA, or High Density Cellulose Acetate. More importantly, these lightweight frames are extremely strong; giving Ted Baker the ability to embellish them with spring hinges, metal décor and all of the other details used in the standard collection. In fact, this lightweight material is so strong it keeps its form and adjustments in the same way a regular plastic frame would. In addition, the RX capabilities of an HDCA frame mirror that of a standard acetate frame. As you might know, Ted Baker launched the Men’s Finely Framed sub-collection earlier this year.
